As volunteer foster homes are available, South County Cats takes in kittens whose mother (and other cats in the household or yard) are spayed or neutered through our programs. These kittens receive treatment for internal and external parasites, and are vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped before adoption. | South County Cats partners with several organizations and veterinary clinics to provide free or low cost spay/neuter for cats cared for by income-qualified King County residents.
Pasado’s state-of-the art mobile Spay Station travels around south King County with stops in Maple Valley, Fairwood (Renton), Kent and Enumclaw, sponsored by South County Cats and Regional Animal Services-King County. Cost - $20 co-pay for cats, $45 co-pay for dogs. Feral cats are free and will receive a rabies vaccine and eartip.
